We are currently looking to hire a Station/ counter sales agent for our Miramichi, Campbellton and Bathurst Stations (New Brunswick).

If excellent customer service is to provide a warm and personalized customer experience, meet the needs of passengers with eagerness, efficiency and sincerely express your appreciation, we need you. Our reputation is based on our excellent customer service, in a safe and secure environment.

 

You will guide passengers in the station or on the platform accordingly and you will also:

• verify tickets

• make announcements and provide information on train arrivals, departures as well as delays

• assist passengers with special needs

• perform general janitorial duties in and outside the station

• issue tickets, work at the ticket office

 

Here are a few other tasks you will be responsible for:

• manipulate baggage, packages or other items such as sports equipment

• work outdoors in all climactic conditions

• operate a motorized vehicle in narrow areas

• load luggages aboard the train

Some important details about the job:

 

SCHEDULE

You are available to work from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm (Tuesdays off)- 24h per week (4h/day for 6 days approximatively)

Please note that working schedules may change based on operational demands, special circumstances and train delays. You must be very flexible when it comes to your work schedule and expect to work holidays as well.

You will need to be able to go to all of the 3 stations: Bathurst, Campbellton and Miramichi. ( Vehicle required )

 

 

 SALARY

between $25.89 and $29.99/hour

You are well-suited for this challenge if you:

•             Have a strong ability to communicate with a smile, both in English and French

•             Possess a high school diploma

•             Have a minimum of one year of customer service experience ideally in tourism, hospitality or airline company

•             Have great computer and Internet search skills

•             Possess a valid driver’s license (you will be required to drive a motorized vehicle for baggage)

•             Are physically able to lift up to 23 Kg
