As part of a strong team reporting to the Manager, Employee Experience Center, the Talent Acquisition Advisor will face challenges on a daily basis, all while offering superior service to our partners and candidates so that they feel confident, capable and supported. Concretely, you will have to:

  • Work closely with managers to ensure that the requirements and expectations of the position are clearly defined. With your solid understanding of market trends and talent gaps, you will become a trusted advisor who can help them develop strategic talent search plans;
  • Develop candidate search strategies using social media, different recruitment sites and other sources to attract the best talent. Proactively, identify candidates and make solicitation calls;
  • Perform the full staffing process in collaboration (create attractive and dynamic job postings, screen resumes, conduct candidate searches, perform pre-selection, and participate in face to face interviews with managers upon request);
  • Manage active candidates throughout the recruitment process through effective communication to ensure a positive candidate experience;
  • Develop salary recommendations, make offers and all administrative tasks related to hiring.

 

Requirements: 

  • A bachelor’s degree in human resources management or a related field
  • Minimum of 8 years of recruitment experience in hiring managers and professionals
  • Experience with recruitment systems - ATS such as SuccessFactors (an asset)
  • Experience with search tools (LinkedIn and other social media platforms)
  • Expertise in using Insight (LinkedIn) to deliver comprehensive labor market analyse
  • Proficiency in MS Office and Teams
  • Experience with recruiting hard-to-find resources
  • Expertise in sourcing top talent, including extensive experience in finding passive candidates on various platforms and social media
  • Collaborative team approach, while focused on customer service and results
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build relationships
  • Excellent sales and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle changing needs
  • Excellent consultative skills, understanding client needs and problem-solving ability
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously in a changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple functions and manage time effectively.
