RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develop work instructions and continuously improve them;
- Improve work methods to enhance quality and reduce execution time;
- Participate in solving manufacturing issues in collaboration with design engineers and the production line;
- Complete technical and management files in collaboration with various stakeholders (production, engineering, quality, logistics…);
- Research and propose technical and economic solutions to improve workshop performance;
- Ensure work methods are safe and comply with health and safety standards;
- Participate in employee engagement within the workshop;
- Participate in or lead special projects.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
- College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline;
- 5–10 years of experience in methods.
- Bilingual (spoken and written);
- Experience in an industrial workshop, ideally in heavy equipment manufacturing;
- Experience in a unionized environment;
- Strong computer skills (CMMS an asset);
- Available for occasional travel;
- Available to work all shifts occasionally.
