RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop work instructions and continuously improve them;
Improve work methods to enhance quality and reduce execution time;
Participate in solving manufacturing issues in collaboration with design engineers and the production line;
Complete technical and management files in collaboration with various stakeholders (production, engineering, quality, logistics…);
Research and propose technical and economic solutions to improve workshop performance;
Ensure work methods are safe and comply with health and safety standards;
Participate in employee engagement within the workshop;
Participate in or lead special projects.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

College diploma (DEC) or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline;
5–10 years of experience in methods.
Bilingual (spoken and written);
Experience in an industrial workshop, ideally in heavy equipment manufacturing;
Experience in a unionized environment;
Strong computer skills (CMMS an asset);
Available for occasional travel;
Available to work all shifts occasionally.
