VIA Rail Canada Inc. is currently seeking Telephone Sales Agents to join its team at the Montréal Call Centre.


Your Role

Our customers’ journey often begins with searching for information or purchasing tickets. They can browse online… or turn to you, by phone, to:

  • Listen to their expectations and respond to their questions and concerns
  • Recommend and sell travel solutions tailored to their needs
  • Clearly explain the advantages and benefits of available options
  • Provide a personalized, efficient, and attentive approach

Your contribution will help:

  • Create business opportunities that exceed customer expectations
  • Achieve individual and team goals related to customer satisfaction and operational efficiency

Work Schedule and Conditions

You are available for:

  • A variable schedule, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
    The call centre operates 24/7 but you will be scheduled between 7:00 am to 11:00 pm
  • A guaranteed minimum of 20 hours per week, up to 40 hours per week
  • Shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours per day
  • Start date: April 20, 2026
  • Work location: Montréal Central Station
  • No parking provided
  • Mostly remote position, except during the training period and probation – occasional on‑site presence will still be required

Training

Before beginning the role, you will be required to complete:

  • A full-time training program lasting approximately 4 weeks
  • Successful completion is mandatory
  • Training start date: April 20, 2026

Ideal Candidate Profile

You are the perfect fit if you:

  • Are fully bilingual (spoken and written)
  • Hold a high school diploma
  • Have at least 1 year of experience in sales and customer service
  • Are highly proficient with computer tools and Internet navigation
