As a Station Agent and Counter Agent, you will warmly welcome travelers and meet their needs with efficiency and professionalism. You will join a dynamic team that knows how to take on challenges and work together to provide the best possible experience.
This role is ideal for individuals who dislike routine, excel under pressure, and are passionate about delivering exceptional service to Canadian travelers.
Main Responsibilities
- Create and modify reservations using a computer system
- Check tickets and assist travelers with special needs
- Announce and provide information on train arrivals, departures, and delays
- Maintain station cleanliness
- Handle luggage, parcels, and sports equipment
- Work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Operate a motorized vehicle in tight spaces (training provided)
Work Location and Training
- Primary stations: Ottawa / Fallowfield
- Training begins April 6, 2026
Schedule
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week, with the possibility of up to 40 hours
- 4 to 10 hours per day (starting as early as 4:30 a.m. and ending as late as 11:30 p.m., unless a train is delayed)
Salary
$27.48 to $31.80 per hour
Requirements
- Bilingual (English and French, spoken)
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lb) repeatedly
