Under the supervision of the Manager of Mechanical and Maintenance Services, the Technical Advisor plays a key role within our team to ensure the performance, reliability, and safety of operations.

As a Technical Advisor, you will provide technical support to various teams across all our maintenance centers, which may require occasional travel.

Responsibilities:
-Provide technical assistance to maintenance teams. Diagnose issues, propose solutions, and optimize maintenance procedures;
-Monitor and analyze the performance of railway equipment and use monitoring tools to detect anomalies;
-Identify potential safety issues and propose corrective measures. Ensure compliance with railway safety standards and regulations;
-Document incidents and recurring problems;
-Ensure knowledge transfer and coaching to the mechanical and maintenance services team;
-Participate in the evaluation and integration of new technologies or methodologies to improve operational efficiency.

Requirements:

-College Diploma in a relevant discipline related to Engineering Technology;
-A minimum of eight (8) years of experience in the railway or transportation industry;
-At least 2 years of experience as a Technical Advisor (an asset);
-Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; knowledge of SharePoint and Oracle (an asset);
-Knowledge of Witronix, Quads, Railigent, Maximo (an asset).
