We re looking for bilingual agents to work at our Toronto station with occasional stints at our Oshawa and Oakville stations.

 

Station agents provide a warm welcome to our passengers and attend to their needs with diligence and efficiency. You'll join a team of incredibly talented individuals who are skilled at navigating challenges and working together to handle occasional difficulties and sensitive situations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

As Station Agent you will:

•             Book and change reservations on the computer

•             Check tickets

•             Make announcements and provide information about train arrivals  departures and delays

•             Provide assistance to passengers with specific needs

•             Ensure that the station is kept clean

•             Handle baggage  packages and sports equipment

•             Work outside in all kinds of weather conditions

•             Drive a motor vehicle through tight spaces (training provided )

 

LOCATION

You will work at our Toronto station with occasional stints at our Oshawa and Oakville stations.

Training Starting date : March 3rd, 2025

 

SCHEDULE

You must be available to work:

 - A guaranteed 20 hours/week  with the possibility of working up to 40 hours/week

 - On a variable on call schedule between 5:45 a.m. and 12:00 a.m. (or until train arrival) seven days a week including weekends and holidays

 

SALARY

Hourly rate: between $25.89 and $29.99/h

 

REQUIREMENTS

You are well suited for this position if you have :

- The skill to communicate with a smile and speak both English and French

- A high school diploma

- At least one year of customer service experience

- A valid driver s licence

- The physical ability to repetitively handle loads of up to 23 kg (50 lb.) (which is easily doable for workers of any gender with the right technique)
