As a key support role within the International Sales team, this position is designed to facilitate and coordinate a wide range of sales activities across both corporate and leisure markets. Reporting directly to the Senior Managers of Corporate and Leisure Sales, it plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth execution of administrative, operational, and client-facing tasks, while fostering cross-functional collaboration and demonstrating strong technical proficiency. This position actively supports strategic sales initiatives and contributes to the overall efficiency of daily operations.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the Sr. Managers of Corporate and Leisure sales, this role supports corporate, government, education and international leisure accounts and activities in both official languages
- Perform various administrative duties including monthly reconciliation of budgets, payment of invoices, cheque requisitions, reconciliation of company credit cards; contract & file management, shipping & receiving of marketing/ tradeshow materials; ordering office supplies and maintaining office equipment
- Updating Oracle and Salesforce
- Provide product knowledge to VIA Rail’s corporate and leisure accounts
- Report and presentation creation using Power BI and PowerPoint
- Planning and organizing familiarization trips
- Provide support to the sales team and act as a key contact while team members are out of office
- Other duties as needed to support the Sales team
Requirements:
- College diploma in Administration. Marketing certificate is an asset;
- 3-5 years of pertinent experience;
- Familiarity with B2B distribution models within the leisure and corporate travel industry would be considered an asset;

Very good oral communication skills in both official languages (English and French);

Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite and (Oracle & Salesforce);
