We are looking for dedicated and dynamic individuals to provide exceptional customer service at our Winnipeg station. By joining a truly collaborative team, you will play a key role in warmly welcoming travelers and efficiently responding to their needs.

No two days are the same when working in a station. Schedules vary based on train arrivals and departures, and the tasks are diverse. You may:

  • Provide directions to travelers
  • Check tickets
  • Assist an elderly passenger boarding the train
  • Lift large suitcases
  • Drive a small motorized cart to transport luggage (training provided!)

Key Responsibilities

  • Check passenger tickets and support boarding procedures
  • Announce and communicate information regarding arrivals, departures, and delays
  • Assist travelers with special needs
  • Help maintain the cleanliness of the station
  • Handle luggage, parcels, and sports equipment
  • Work outdoors in all weather conditions
  • Operate a motorized vehicle in confined spaces (training provided)
  • Assist with basic inventory counts and stock verification of station and onboard supplies

Seasonal Position

Work Schedule

You are available to work:

  • A variable schedule, including weekends and holidays
  • Shifts ranging from 4 to 8 hours, between 7:00 a.m. and 1:00 a.m.
    Train delays may require you to work outside these hours.

Training

A training session of approximately four weeks will be provided and must be successfully completed.
You must be available to begin training on May 25th, 2026.


Position Requirements

  • Availability for 20 hours/week guaranteed, with the possibility of up to 40 hours
  • Flexible availability between, 7 days a week
  • High school diploma
  • Strong interest in customer service
  • Ability to repeatedly lift up to 23 kg (50 lb)
  • Ability to communicate in both English and French
  • Valid driver’s license
